Open to all levels, this blend of restorative yoga, breath techniques, and meditation guides will unwind and de-stress body and mind. The perfect transition from weekend to week ahead, gain skills and benefits that stay with you in day-to-day life.
Learn postures that stabilize blood pressure, heart rate, and brain function.
Practice guided meditation and basic breath techniques for the emergence of innate healing capacity and a relaxing effect.
These sessions combine deep breathing and simple meditation with restorative yoga to help reduce anxiety and stress, calm the emotional body, ease symptoms of depression, enhance immunity, quiet the mind, and promote restful sleep.
Restorative yoga involves carefully sequenced and artfully propped postures designed to balance both the physical and emotional body. Muscles stretch gently with the supportive positioning of yoga props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps. Individualized assistance into the posture provides comfort and minimizes muscle contraction. Postures stimulate and balance the para-sympathtic nervous system for a soothing relaxation response.
